2005 First E-DCH frame protocol tests succesful
NetHawk's customer has run successful E-DCH channel tests using the pilot version NetHawk RNC/Iub Simulator v1.5. In these L1 tests the RNC/Iub Simulator received E-DCH data frames at 700kbps from the NodeB.
The final release of NetHawk RNC/Iub Simulator v1.5 will support E-DCH frame protocol for HSUPA L1 and L3 testing. The Simulator will support L1 testing for single UE up to 5.8Mbps and for three UEs with each using up to 1.44Mbps. The specification level is 3GPP Release6 June 2005.
